1. MUSIC FOR BABIES & YOUNG CHILDREN
Join us for a joyful musical journey with global expert Prof Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir, specially designed for babies, toddlers, and caregivers—nurturing creativity and development through music!
A wonderful musical experience for babies, toddlers and parents/caregivers led by global expert in early childhood music, Prof Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir from the University of Iceland.
Presenting this session for the first time in India, she brings her decades of experience working in various countries and contexts, and training numerous music teachers on how to introduce music to babies and young children. She will lead a creative, engaging and musically rich session for babies, children and their parents/caregivers to provide ideas that aid in cognitive and physical development.
What you can expect:
All materials and musical instruments will be provided free for you to use during the session and take with you
Participation is voluntary. You may also join as an observer with your child
Ideas and suggestions will be shared to enable you to continue exploring music with your child
Safety measures have been put into place to ensure that your experience is comfortable, positive and memorable
Please arrive 10 minutes before workshop time so babies and children can settle down and get comfortable

A hands-on session to explore the benefits of music for your baby, from pregnancy to early childhood!
To-be mum's and dad's can join us for a practical and informative session presented by leading expert in early-childhood music, Prof Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir from the University of Iceland.
She brings her decades of experience working in various countries and contexts, and training numerous music teachers on how to introduce music to babies, toddlers and young children.
What you can expect:
A practical talk with practical examples to give you the confidence and direction on introducing music from pre-birth to the post-natal phase.
Guided research and evidence based teaching to substantiate and support music for babies
Q&A time

4. INTRODUCING MUSIC TO BABIES AND TODDLERS
Join us for a training course on early childhood music, featuring practical sessions and research discussions, with certification and job placement opportunities!
Presenting a training course, for the first time in India, led by global expert in early childhood music Prof Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir from the University of Iceland. She brings her decades of experience working in various countries, contexts and training numerous music teachers on how to introduce music to babies and young children. Prof Helga Rut is a published author and creator of the Tónagull Method used to train babies and young children in music.
What you can expect:
You are invited to observe as Prof Helga Rut leads two practical sessions for babies, toddlers and their parents from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. You have the option of participating in these session as an observer or an active assistant
From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we will reflect, discuss and unpack research on effective strategies to build musicality in this age group

You can choose to attend just this one session or complete the entire course
To qualify for a Certificate of Course Completion from Harmony International in association with Tónagull - Iceland, you will have to attend one practical sessions, six online sessions and complete your assignments. Online sessions will be held twice a month via Zoom.
